My Blender Recommendation

Blendtec Total Blender Classic – This thing is a horse! A lot of research went into choosing a blender because I use it everyday for different things. Smoothies, soups, coconut milk, almond milk, my iPhone when I am sick of phone calls… Wait…okay I am kidding about the iPhone, but here’s why I decided to invest close to $400 in a blender.

  • I will use it for many years and don’t want to replace it
  • I need something large and powerful
  • They sold me on everything it blends in their YouTube videos

After all of my research, it came down between this and the Vitamix. The Vitamix is certainly one of the best blenders on the market. The Blendtec is just as powerful and more compact. And has the cool digital gauges. This one is shorter so if you don’t have a lot of room on your countertop, it might be better (Vitamix is taller AND has a damper). The blender is the main tool to start living a healthier lifestyle. Having a blender is like hiring a virtual assistant. Once you have a great blender, you will find way more uses for it than you ever thought possible.

My Juicer Recommendation

Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor – I’ve been juicing for 6 years and have owned 3 different juicers. Once you dive down the health rabbit hole, you will realize there is a big debate on which is the best juicer. High speed, low speed, number of gears, etc. The best juicer is the one you are going to use the most. I owned a Greenstar because I heard it was the best. It is no doubt a fantastic juicer. If you have money to blow and want the best quality juice, buy it. Yeah the juice was probably higher quality because it was processed at a low speed, but it took me forever to make a juice. I would spend like 30 minutes of my day juicing, scrubbing parts, and having a huge mess in the sink.

I bought Hurom then, which was faster, but still a slow juicer and the thing made pulpy carrots. Finally, I invested $300 into this Breville. Now I juice almost everyday. It’s fast, has a huge mouth, stainless steel, quick cleanup, and never a pulpy juice. And it’s built to last. It has great reviews and I am so happy with this juicer.

My Dehydrator Recommendation

Excalibur 2400 4-Tray Economy Dehydrator – Wild deer jerky, kale chips, almond flour, zucchini chips. I have to be honest. My assistant does most of the work making all this great stuff. But I love this machine. The four tray is plenty for me. It’s the perfect height for my place. If you have plenty of room and want a little more, get the 9 tray. You can also pull out all the trays and culture up some raw milk at the perfect temperature to make kefir or yogurt.

My Rebounder Recommendation

JumpSport Fitness Trampoline Model 250 – Yes I rock a rebounder! Lol. Who wouldn’t love bouncing up and down on this thing first thing in the morning. Or taking a break in the middle of work. It’s great for helping drain your lymphatic system, getting your blood flowing, and it’s a good little workout if you have some high ceilings.  It’s the first thing I do when I hop out of bed in the morning.

Okay, why did I choose this one? Couple reasons. First, its sturdy and well made. It had the best reviews. And the main reason I like it, is that it doesn’t use springs. Springs are noisy and can lead to injury. This uses elastic bands that are soft if you catch your foot on it. It’s not necessary, but you can get yours with a handle attachment that’s super easy to install. I’ve had mine for a few years now and it’s still like new. This thing might be on the pricer side for rebounders, but it’s one of the best!

My Yoga Mat Recommendation

Manduka Black Mat PRO 71-Inch Yoga and Pilates Mat – I don’t always do yoga, but when I do … I look damn good doing it because of this yoga mat. This mat is perfect for us tall guys (I’m 6’2″) to play slip and slide on during a lovely hot yoga session. Mostly I use it to stretch on every morning. It’s thick, durable, and very well made. A lot of the mats I see are paper thin and give no cushion for the pushin’. You will probably spend more buying two cheap mats, then picking up this good one. I really want to like yoga and do it on a regular basis. This guy has me inspired. I’ll buy lunch for whoever can get me hooked on yoga so I can use my fancy mat. 😉

My Tea Infuser Recommendation

Libre Double Walled Glass Tea Infuser – Once you have this thing, you will wonder how you lived without it. If you are on the go and love drinking tea, this thing is your savior. Pour in your loose leaf tea and some hot water, and you are good to go. The mouthpiece has a stainless steel mesh on it so it filters the tea as you drink it. I like to put a little extra in and I can brew my FAVORITE tea a few times. It’s nice because I am often flying to a new place and this is perfect to take on the plane. Seriously, get a tea infuser. Even if you don’t drink much tea, having this will make you want to drink more.
