I would say that true choice, in the most authentic sense, comes from within. If we make choices unconsciously, that is reacting, versus choosing. We need to take time to sort out our true values, mission, and purpose, so that we can make our choices according to those values and goals.

Thanks Chris, I like the way you put it. They are unaware. I think we are all unaware at one point. Just how I envisioned me saying I was a self-made millionaire. What is the turning point in your eyes where someone becomes more aware about success and money? Like the importance of it and about loving one's self.

I love it. It means a lot to me. I have gone through much physical pain over the past few years and could not imagine not have gone through it. It made me so much stronger and aware. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. So do you think then this word should be thrown out? I have a respect for anyone that creates success especially someone who has literally nothing. But when you come from nothing, I think even more so that others are contributing to ones success. Those words could look quite selfish if someone from a rags to riches story used it in the wrong context. What should someone in that “rags to riches” situation be called?
